Since 2016, 3 137 has launched After the explosion… you hear the light, a series of actions and the formation of a network aimed at studying and bringing forward art narratives, practices and works from the 70s in Greece. Triggered by an abstract closeness that we feel with that decade, we developed the project in response to the local lack of institutional representation of the 70s’ artistic production. The aim of the endeavour is to create an improvised unofficial structure that acts in an independent, preservatory, complementary and fragmentary way to highlight the elective affinities and narratives within artistic production in Greece. This project is produced in collaboration with the art historian and curator Klea Charitou.
